Sherri is one of the founding partners of Bodden & Bodden Attorneys-at-Law, a Cayman Islands law firm specializing in corporate and commercial matters, real estate, and local licensing and immigration.
Her practice focuses on the securitization of funding and conveyancing for large residential and commercial developments and related licensing requirements.
Sherri is recognized as a leading specialist in her areas of expertise. The firm has been identified by The Legal 500 Caribbean as #1 in real estate in the Cayman Islands with Sherri being specifically recommended in both the 2013 and 2014 editions.
Sherri is the Deputy Chairman of Cayman National Corporation, a leading local financial institution and since 2009 she has been Chairman of the Electrical Regulatory Authority. Sherri has chaired a number of Government Boards including The Development Plan Tribunal, Trades and Business Licensing Board and various Immigration Boards. She was awarded the M.B.E. by Her Majesty the Queen for services to the community particularly in the area of immigration.
She graduated in 1985 from Bristol University in the United Kingdom and was called to the Bar of England and Wales the following year as a Member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. She has practiced in the Cayman Islands since 1987 where she resides with her husband Wayne and three children.
